Hello There =)

I was just wondering if there is a way to make creeps in a region to be un controlled by you, cause im using 12 players in my map and i cant give the creeps to a open spot cause every spot is full

And im also wondering how you can make the creeps attack heroes only :)

Thank you! //Hydro-

1. Neutral Hostile?

2. Yeah, you could probably change their "Targets Allowed" in the object editor to heroes only.

I tried that but they were just running back and crap like that :p also i couldnt add
A player from (team1) enters team2
Player - Make Player 1 (Red) treat Neutral Hostile as an Ally

Cause i dont want you to steal kills from your enemie, its a hero line war map

Of course creeps run back if you run away... That is how they work.

If you don't want them to, you will need to change the Gameplay settings in Advanced -> Gameplay settings.

Nah i weren't even there

Dont you know how you un controlle units instead, kinda easier for me

A unit will always be allied to your if you own the unit, so it won't be a creep, cause it is allied... Sort of the point of the Neutral Hostile player.

Gameplay Constants controls these factors of running back.. It's under the Creep section.

Can you say the excatly name please, ive already been there and change abit

Creeps - Guard Return Distance and Creeps - Guard Return Time (secs) control it. If any of them are broken, the creep runs back.

There is a way to make units uncontrollable? I think it's an ability or something that the serpent wards have cause that's what they use in Castle fight or w/e the name is^^

Edit: Sorry, they don't have any such ability so I would guess it's their ward classification. Haven't tried it though.

You cant do it, i think.
Use the modification on gameplay constants as said above!

Perhaps, you can add the Wanderer ability to player controled units, so they will wander around.

News portal has been retired. Main page of site goes to Headline News forum now
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.

https://www.thehelper.net/pages/news/ is a link to the old news portal - i will integrate it into the interface somewhere when i figure it out
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Need to try something
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hopefully this won't cause problems.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hmm
  • Ghan Ghan:
I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    See how we like that.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
  • Ghan Ghan:
Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.
  • Ghan Ghan:
It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
  • The Helper The Helper:
I don't really get that article forum but I think it is because I have never really seen it used on a multi post thread
  • Ghan Ghan:
RpNation makes more use of it right now as an example: https://www.rpnation.com/news/
