Tutorial Unique PvP (Player vs Player) System!

Introduction


Getting started:

The unique pvp system it's very easy and can do very good things in Rpg games or any other!

Follow the guide how to create such system!

1st Step:

Go to World Editor.Then go to trigger (f4)

2nd step:

Create new category and named it pvp
Create new trigger calledlayer1 vs player 2

3rd step:

Now this is very easy!

Events:
Player 1 red types : -pvp as an exact match
Conditions:None(NOTHING)
Actions:
Make player 1 red threat player 2 blue as an enemy with shared(or not shared vision)

4th step:
Player 1 red types:-nopvp as an exact match

Make player 1 red threat player 2 blue as an ally with shared vision!

5th step:
Test your map and try it!Easy and fun!Hope you like it!(And I hope here to get some + rep )

You should improve it so that each player can type -pvp # (players number) and engage in PvP with the specified player (and same with -nopvp). As of right now, I can't see how a newbie would understand how to make it work for all players, easily and efficiently

It's treat, not threat. Also, please copy your code and put it in code tags.

Usually, there is a lot more to pvp in games then having players be enemies.

Player 1 is at a huge advantage. He could type in -nopvp right before they cast a spell on him, and guess what, it won't hurt him. Player 1 could also type in -pvp while another player is about to die from pve to get an easy kill.

Finally, in your title it says unique, though I have no idea why this is considered unique.

I can see no way that this could be unusual or in the least bit not typical.

In the rules for posting a resource, it says not to submit half-completed tutorials and the like. I think that this still has a long way to go before being complete. Usually there can be multiple ways of doing things, yet you have only elaborated on one, and even for the one you talked about, you posted two triggers each with one action.

A bit too simple, and as others have pointed out, player 1 has a massive advantage with this system.
I think it needs to be improved before I would, as Zedzy said, call it unique.
