Unit Leave Region (NOT working)

Hello,

Are units leaving a region when they dies?
I ask this because my trigger is not working

event any unit leaves region 'rich field'
condition
action modify player properties 'add' 1 'mineral' for triggering player

As far as I know, they dont - a dead unit also counts as a unit. Maybe you could have a trigger that runs every time a unit dies within that region, it will give the mineral.

(Could you please explain what you want to use this for (makes it easier to see another solution))

I can make a trigger that if a unit dies, it gives 1 mineral, but this is wrong since it has the possibility to FIRST leave the region and die after so actually adding the player 2 minerals

I haven;t any clue on how to program that if a unit dies in a certain region, a trigger-action will fire

I dont have access to the editor now but i remember that there is a condition like "unit is in 'region'" but i might be wrong. I will check today in the aftenoon (about 8 h from now). You can try yourself in the meantime if you have time.
