Unit - Set Life trigger

I looked this up on search, found a couple of threads, but none like mine, probably because I'm missing something HUGE here.

Trigger:
  • Mind Control
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Mind Control
    • Actions
      • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
        • If - Conditions
          • MindControlInteger[(Player number of (Owner of (Casting unit)))] Greater than or equal to 5
        • Then - Actions
        • Else - Actions
          • Unit - Change ownership of (Target unit of ability being cast) to (Owner of (Casting unit)) and Change color
          • Unit - Set life of (Target unit of ability being cast) to (Life of (Casting unit))
          • Set MindControlInteger[(Player number of (Owner of (Casting unit)))] = (MindControlInteger[(Player number of (Owner of (Casting unit)))] + 1)


So why doesn't the life part work? I want the health of the unit to scale with the health of the caster.

I based this spell off of cripple.

Try triggering unit instead of casting unit.....

Edit: omg, how fool I am :eek:

Edit 2:Maybe it works, but you can't notice it, try percentage life

Unit - Set life of (Target unit of ability being cast) to (Percentage life of (Casting unit))%

if the Caster has 7,000 hp and the target unit has 200 HP, will the target unit have 7,000 hp when the ability is used?

that is what i need.

I will try yours right now though

No, except if the max like of target is above 7000+ and it's current is 200 hp.

If target's max hp less than 7000, it can't.
didn't see above post :

Also my set variable line a bit wrong, it should be:

Set MindControlInteger[(Player number of (Owner of (Casting unit)))] = (MindControlInteger[(Player number of (Owner of (Casting unit)))] + 1)

I need it like I stated, to be set to the life of the casting unit, is this possible?

things like bonus wont get you exact health but it'll get you close

it may be a little difficult to implement however...
