Units for each race.

in my map i got 4 races.

*Undead - dont know yet.
*Orc - dont know yet.
*Human - melee units
*Elf - range units

each race has 5 levels of units.
to get a new lvl units u need some kills

so i thought mby u would like to help me out :p

Lvl1 units should have not more then 80hp ^^



looking for help :=)

How is the leveling process supposed to look like?

map type : Free For All / Arena

At start each player has a hero (who will choose what units to spawn) elf,human,orc or undead.

each kill gives hero 1exp.
after hero is lvl 5 ... it wil start to spwan lvl 2 units for player.
@ hero lvl 10 there will be lvl 3 units
@ lvl 15 there will be lvl 4 units
@ lvl 20 there will be lvl 5 units (last units for the moment)

+ hero has some aura skills what u can choose from to aid ur units in massive battle :p
but auras atm are fucked :S

I'd do:

Undead: Spellcasters
Orc: Melee
Human: Mixed
Elf: Ranged

Although you need to mix all of these into every race... Ranged generally becomes imbalanced quickly :p

yeah nice idea.. but i cant do it my self :D lol
ahh going to make some beta tests soon as i get important things done :p

I'll Beta test for you :)

Just go into the object editor and make each of the units and levels.
I'm not generally good with balancing :p

Then do a simple trigger which looks a bit like this:
Events: A unit dies.
Conditions: N/A
Actions:
Set killing units custom value = custom value + 1
If custom value = 5
Replace with level 2

Thats an outline.
If a unit kills a unit, its custom value goes up. Then you can replace it.

Edit: Didn't see the heroes but :p
Event: A unit gains a level
Conditions: [Hero]
Actions:
If level = 2
then replace units with level 2
[Etc]

These are brief outlines. Not real triggers. No Code tags used due to this ^^

i wont use heroes to fight ;) atm i think :D

im not home atm so i cant send the map or host it :/
but if u want to help u can start a new map and try to make 5 units for each race (lvl 1 -5 )

cuz my units arnt that rdy lol.. so if u can make some good units ill add them befor beta :)

Ill start making beta tests in 2 days :cool:

I will use heroes. I will use 4 diffrent heroes. 1 human,1 elf, 1 undead , 1orc.
they will not attack.. With them u can choose witch units to spawn.
each hero will have 3 auras + 1 special skill for main race.

so if u get human hero u will use human units.. :d

but u can help me with trigger sure :) i need to make a really good multiboard :)

it should show Players, Kills (equals heroes exp) and time.
