Well after a long time debating between myself and my alter ego's someone prevailed and i got myself WEU.

I was so STOKED... it was so much nicer and gave a greater feeling of control................

until i tested the map for a new ability..

I discovered that a previous ability of mine 'blood shield' which i recieved alot of help from Rinpun, suddenly wont work.

The name of the ability has reverted to 'channel' (though the data stills says 'bloodshield') and whilst the first action works (healing the target to 100%) it doesnt do it again, and after casting it, my healer runs over and smacks the targeted unit over the head once :confused:

do i need to rewrite it? to be compatible with WEU?

I'm not familiar with the WEU, but you could try opening the map in the normal WE and converting the trigger to JASS? Then bringing it over to the WEU.
That may be worth a shot.

I thought WEU has 100% compatibility with WE.
Not the other way, since if you add any WEU feature to any map, you wont be able to open it again in WE until all its "advanced triggers" have been translated to JASS.
Sorry to be of no help, I didn't know why your fully usable WE spell doesn't work under WEU...

dude if you're using that trigger than rinpun gave you, it's only supposed to heal once. when it's done castingthe spell. thats what the trigger does.

so whats the problem then? it only works the first time he casts it and it never works again after that when he casts it again? if thats the problem, post your trigger here. right click on the name of the trigger and Copy as text and post it here.

try changing the event to a unit starts the effect of a spell

It looks fine and dandy to me, I have moved over almost the exact same type of skill/triggers between we and weu b4 and I didnt have a single prob.

It is just being pissy for some reason, it may be some setting you configured for the WEU.

Anyway that should be a 10 min job to remake anyway. I think that if you just remake it from scratch in weu it will work fine.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
