Using Rawcodes in unit tooltips?

Hi again :D

This time I want to ask about how I use rawcodes in a hero's tooltip.

For some reason, it just gives me 0 for all the rawcodes I use:
Strength: <U000:Udre,STR> - <U000:Udre,STRplus> per level
Agility: <U000:Udre,AGI> - <U000:Udre,AGIplus> per level
Intelligence: <U000:Udre,INT> - <U000:Udre,INTplus> per level

Abilities: Consume, Regurgitate, Frenzy, Vampirism, Plague of the Dead

Attack: Melee
Attack Speed: <U000:Udre,cool1>
Movement Speed: <U000:Udre,spd>

Becomes:
Strength: 0 - 0 per level
Agility: 0 - 0 per level
Intelligence: 0 - 0 per level

Abilities: Consume, Regurgitate, Frenzy, Vampirism, Plague of the Dead

Attack: Melee
Attack Speed: 0
Movement Speed: 0

Also, I'd like to know how I use decimals in Rawcode. I know how to use percents (A009,DataA1,%), but don't know about decimals. I heard it was <A009,DataA1,.> but that doesn't work :/

only the custom rawcode is needed not the original too U000:Udre just have to be U000

2. But I'd believe that it's supposed to be like that (<A009,DataA1,.>), because as I look at the normal "Avatar" ability, I can see this being used:
<AHad,DataA1,.>

So it's supposed to work, I'd believe...

Well, are you sure that it's the correct names that you're using ? :S
What spell (If that's what your creating :S) have you based it on ? :eek:

I'm pretty sure I have the correct unit name.

I'm trying to get these values in a Unit's tooltip, not for an ability. Not sure if that has anything to do with it?

It will save a lot of time if I need to do some fine-tune balancing, and preserve my patience.

Also, if you don't have something to contribute, keep your comments to yourself.

I know that a lot of the Unit Editor fields are bugged and don't show up properly in tooltips. The only one that I know works for sure is the hp.

Does anyone have something useful to add? I'd really like to know if this is possible and how to do it. If it is impossible, then I need someone to tell me so.

If you double checked that the tooltip is written correctly and it still doesn't show, then the tooltip is bugged. You will have no choice but to write it manually.

Well then. I guess there's no other choice, although this really would've helped me out so much.

Thanks to Sgqvur for the link to the tooltips tutorial, it did provide good enough information :D

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
