Vertical Gate?

I tried making a vertical gate but this was the result:

What should I do to make it vertical? It's horizontal.

Use the Door that says "Verticle" with the name of the door.

I meant that I wanted to make the gate as a unit not a destructible.

He probably wants the gate as an unit and as a vertical one
if you just change an unit model to the gate model it will always be horizontal and no i don't have a clue on how to make it vertical for what i know it isn't possible..

Extract the gate model
Open it with the "War3ModelEditor" (Check out the Tools page)
Rotate the model around the Z Axis 90 degrees.
Import it to our map.

Should work.

Thanks for helping, Amfidamant! I can make my vertical gate now.

@H34DhUnT3r: With the War3 Model Editor.

You'll need to find the Elf Gate first.

Go to Windows > MPQ Browser.
Then go to File > War3.mpq.

If that doesn't work, then

Go to File > Open MPQ Archive

Search the War3.mpq file at your Warcraft III directory.

Now, this is the part to find it.
Double click Doodads > LordaeronSummer > Terrain > ElfGate > ElfGate.mdx

Now, the Elf Gate should appear at the Model Editor. It is now horizontal.

To change it, you have to

Go to Windows > Model Editor
Go to Selection > Select All
Go to Transformations > Rotation

Rotate 90 degrees around Z axis

Then close the Model Editor, NOT the War3 Model Editor!! Now, your screen should be at War3 Model Editor. Click File > Save as

and save your file as ElfGate in the War3ModelEditor directory.
Now in the World Editor, import the ElfGate.

What if you don't make it a building, you should be able to rotate it then.

And isn't there both a vertical and a horizontal gate model?
