Waiting for a dummy projectile to reach a point for an action

How would i send a projectile to a target unit then hid ethe caster, then wait until the projectile hits the target unit for the caster to be revealed again? wait for condition? timers, iv never used them?

Set DummyProj = (last created unit) [when creating dummy]
Set TargetProj = (Target of ability being cast) [target of spell]
Add event (TargetProj receives damage)
Separate trigger
Events
(added one)
Condition
(Damage source equal to DummyProj)
Actions
Whatever u want

in the slide trigger (if you're using a dummy) check any enemy unit in range

Code:
e: every 0.03 seconds of game time
c:
a: set dummy_point = position of "your dummy"
   set move_point = dummy_point offset by 50 towards facing of "your dummy" degrees
   move "your dummy" to move point   
   set real_count = real_count + 50
   set impact_group = units within 50 of dummy_point matching (matching unit belongs to an enemy of owner of "the dummy")
   pick every unit in impact_group and to actions
      set picked_pos = position of picked unit
      if then else
         if distance between dummy_point and picked_pos less than or equal to 50
         remove "dummy" from the game
         "do whatever you want with the unit"         
       call RemoveLocation(udg_picked_pos)
   if real_count greater than or equal to (whatever)
      remove the "dummy" from game
   call RemoveLocation(udg_dummy_point)
   call RemoveLocation(udg_move_point)

this is not MUI ofc, but you can easily make it so

use vex's caster system and then you type like 10 things less. just create missile and specify on hit action. ^^

Ty dinowc! ill definatly try that trigger and post if i have and issues. Ty guys for all the help!How would i do this if i had multiple projectiles moving?How would i calculate how much the real value would need to be before i remove the dummy unit?
Also sometimes the dummy goes skew, like totally misses the target. Is there an angle i can set so that it goes straight?

I tried setting it to the facing angle of the caster but during battle the caster changes its facing angle and the trigger bugs, the dummy goes in the wrong direction.

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
