Warcraft 3 Art Effects not showing

In-game, some models do not show up at all like for example

I play a game of DotA, the spell arts dont show like impale

whats happening? :\ the sound attached with the model doesnt come up either

Something maybe wrong with your install. Try reinstalling the game.

Go to options and set the spell effects to high in video settings, then try to play ^^

I had the same exact problem.
I started a thread about it, but there weren't any answers to the problem.
But everything is fine for me now; though i don't know how it fixed.
