Wards

Hi, i made a custom unit, item and ability to make - a ward. And I tried customizing and done a lot of things. But these still bother me:

When ward is placed and I click on it I see in "timed life" Healing ward, how to change that to whatever I want?

When dropping a ward i get a pretty large circle, how to make that circle smaller?

And what does "Text - Order String - Use/Turn On" means? I found it while editing Healing Ward (Item) ability.

1. You can't change timed life. For the name of the unit find your Healing Ward unit and go to the bottom of it's details then click text - name then change it to what ever you wan't.

2. I kinda don't get what you mean. Explain more.

3. IDK, just don't touch it, it does nothing for me even you change it lol. Even though I change it to something and order it on trigger by it's original, it still works fine.

2. When i left click on item then i have to left click on "playing area" to place the ward. When placing my mouse cursor is replaced with circle. Get it?

It's based on Healing Ward item spell. The circle cannot be replaced, if you based the item on that spell. The circle size is the AoE of heal, you can decrease it's size (and AoE of heal, of course) by searching healing ward aura. It's on orc section, I know you are using the standard, so it's at orc section, click and change Area of Effect to something. This will change circle size

Yes, you cannot change the timed life text! :d. You can remove it by setting the duration of your ward spell to 0. But it will make the ward live forever(well, until the ward is attacked by forces of evil lol)

No lol, there is no Timed Life there. I search that before, and search earlier, and right now. And you might wan't to check it for yourself.

Noo I need it to die after some time.. Well too bad. I still can't change the size of circle. I changed AOE for Healing Ward Aura and nothing also AOE for Healing Ward (Item) is by default 0.00 :nuts: Changed it and nothing. I'm puzzled and kinda hate this Blizzard game, there is 10 things with similar names like:

Healing Ward (Witch Doctor)
Healing Ward Aura (Healing Ward)
Healing Ward (Neutral hostile)
Healing Ward (Item)

Tell me WTF is everyone of this, and that's just the listing for abilities now when I read Items and Units I kinda wanna go crazy

EDIT: Can't imagine how WOW looks under the hood, with their 100 expansions that take like 50 GB.

Healing Ward Aura (Healing Ward) <<(This is where you change the Area of effect<<<), and in your item(not in ability)

Click your item ward then go to the top of it's detail which is abilities and then replace it with Healing Ward Item (which is a ability that you have) and in your healing ward item ability, there will be a Data, which unit, then click then select your healing ward unit, then in your healing ward, add the healing ward aura ability. And I think, you're right, you can't change the circle size, I didn't test it, but I can't also explain why.

My suggest is to base your healing ward with Sentry Ward (ITEM!!)(And has no giant circle, it will be a target mouse) Then change it with your healing ward item (ABILITY!!!)

Change the name of the buff to change the name in the timed life bar.

And you can't change the size of the targeting image on healing ward, it's hard coded.
