WC3 problem.

what going wrong when i try to open a map on WC3 and when the map window is pulled away by the chains, it lags like .5 of a second and comes back down, without starting the map.

The map was made in NewGen, and wasn't saved before starting/downloading.

or you dont have the wc3 version. (1.24d i think).

Azareus, he's opening the map in the game, not in the editor.

You don't have the version of Wc3 in which the map was made.

I know, it is still a very normal problem.

Some maps are incompatible with newer versions of Warcraft 3. If you have 1.24's then your map may only be able to run on 1.23 or earlier. If it is really important than you might want to have 2 installs of Warcraft, one patched up and one not patched.
