WEU problem

I'm having a problem changing the weu settings. Everytime i try to change the settings they end the program. Any ideas why?

edit: oh and i cant make up my mind. weu or umswe. any suggestion =p

is there a reason why you must use weu?

im not quite sure. but i thought that weu has more features. so mayb it would be better if i used it? would it?

Once you save a map with WEU you can't open it in a regular editor, so make sure you want to use it, and sometimes WEU can cause glitches in the game.

not really, maybe some "extra" gui functions, but nothing NewGen cant do (i dont think so.) besides, weu can corrupt your map

Use Jass NewGen it's got more features than WEU because it has WEU built in. But I'm not sure it works with the latest patch.

it does, just patch your world edit back to 1.21b, which you can find in the Jass forum, first thread titled, NewGen

I've had a problem with WEU before where it made it seem my map was protected, and when I used a deprotector it actually somehow deprotected, when it shouldn't of been protected.
