Why isnt my Sound working?!

I am making a hero arena kind of map. And i want to put in some homemade sounds for eg. first blood etc. But i dont get the sound to work ingame!

Here is how the trigger looks:


And here is how the sound looks in the sound editor:


Ive also tried some "channel" triggers and ive tried to set the volume and pitch in separate triggers. None have worked so far, what should i do?

help will be appreciated

(the sound is in .wav)

Try using a 3D sound and attaching it to the dying unit.

What "Play sound" action are you using? Looking at the picture it looks like you are using one of the actions "Play sound" instead of "Play sound at point/On unit". To play a sound/music file you will have to use an action that refers to a unit/point. The other actions that don't won't be played. (Don't ask me why that's just how world editor works for some reason..)

i now used
Sound - Play f_rst_blod <gen> at 100.00% volume, attached to (Dying unit)
and changed the sound to 3D sound, checking the 3D sound box. Still not owrking though :(:(

Also try Play Sound instead of Play Sound with Offset (with the 3D checkbox unticked).

Saw: thats what i did from the beginning, look at the images i posted.

Please guys still need it to work :O

No you used Play Sound with Offset... Play Sound only has one parameter.

when you import the sounds into the sound editor, are you selecting each sound and setting it up to be the right type of sound for your play method?

Like for example they have check boxes for it to be a 3d sound., so if you are trying to play that as a 3d sound on a unit then that box has gotta be checked.
