Moving Objects From One Map To Another

Just a quick question; is it possible to copy custom units, items, skills etc. into a different map? For example, if I made the units and my friend made the terrain on seperate maps, would I be able to copy/paste the units into his map? Thanks in advance.

Yes.
Open both maps. Then use 'Window' to switch between maps. -You can now copy objects from one map to the other.

go to file -> extract object data to save your object data

then in your other map go to file -> import object data to load all the object data from your other map.

(It's faster but it does overwrite your current object data so if you already have object data I would suggest you copy and paste as Exide said...)

The other map won't have any object data, just terrain. So that method would be okay. Thanks for the help.
