I wanted to do it just for practicing. I will not improve anything on this. It is done, so do not tell me what to improve.

Not every sequence of numbers actually has a formula. I think he was demonstrating a sequence like that.

Well, it can make formulas for 3 types of sequences.

Constants: 5 5 5 5 5 5
Difference: 0

One difference: 4 6 8 10 12 14
Difference: 2, no difference between differences: 14-12 = 12-10

Two differences: 4 5 7 10 14 19
Difference: Increasing per level, there is difference between differences: 14-10 != 10-7, but (14-10)-(10-7) = (19-14)-(14-10)

What is this using for calculating the formula? Gaussian Elimination? If so, why can't it find those formulas?

It's made for the lazy by the hardworking to do the difficult job.

The first three values are calculated by Gaussian elimination if I remember correctly, and would only work as planned for those three values.

If you add more on the other hand, you'd require X^(N Values - 1) terms, requireing Newton interpolation.
