Casting Bar

Hello, I dont know if anyone has played Gaias Retaliation RPG before but if you have you will know what i am talking about. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make those castingbars apear at the bottom of the character when he is casting a spell. They are a bunch of lines that look like this: |||||||||||||||||||

its called a floating text.

can be used with simple GUI as well. however a casting bar system is really really complex and hard to make. it requires some indicator of how long a spell takes to be cast and such.

there are some good ones at the "Tutorials and Resources" sub-forum though, better use them, they are user friendly and efficient.

cant u make a simple one like just do the floating text for: ||||||||||||||||||| as said above, and then change the color each few seconds depending on the casting time? im sure it won't be that" hard?

only if it is not meant to be MUI nor for multiple spells.
if you really want to have a serious and stable casting bar system take one from the forums.

im sure you can make it MUI, but like i doubt your going to cast more than one spell at a time or anything like that... hmm
