Throw a unit in the air?

Hi, I got a spell which is supposed to do xx damage over xx seconds and then deal xx damage after a timer has run out.

And when the timer runs out the unit targeted by the ability is supposed to be thrown up in the air and then down to the ground after 1 second. Similar to the stone giant guy in Dota. His throw. Is is possible to do that in World Editor without Jass? Only GUI? Thanks!

It only needs to go up and down like in real life when you jump up and then ur are being dragged down by gravity.

Since, I don't realy understand what your asking for. I'll make you a map. it will contain two spells , maybe on of those two will be ok.

It is possible to make it in GUI, though I personnally would prefer JASS, since there are pre-made functions for jumps. Such as this one.

You would need a timer that expires every, say, .03 or .04 seconds and change the height of the unit every time that timer expires. Note that you have to give the "Storm Crow Form" (the Druid of the Talon's morph ability) to your unit before setting its height. You should also pause your unit while it is in the air.

As Ash began to explain, adding and removing Crow Form to a unit will allow you to alter the unit's flying height without flying-type movement, much like how a floating unit works (e.g. Lich). You can use a periodic timer to constantly set the flight height for a more smooth "throw".

Hummm for a strange reason , I'm unable to do an up and down movement but I'm able to do a parabolic movement.
