the point is what you said is that the abilities tooltip tells you everything about what the ability does, in fact, it doesnt. at least not for a few selected abilities.Accname
Glaives bound to upgrade, its trivial to check upgrade too.
Exchange ability is really hard to use ever for skilled users, cos selling items or units much more effective and provide event callbacks everyone need.
Also some skills have viable alternatives, or semiuniversal skills like acid bomb (projectile, buff).
that isnt neccassarily true, for example the "Charge Gold / Lumber" ability is not ever used in the entire game, most players do not even know such an ability exists.
and there are alot of information about abilities which are not revealed by the object editor. for example, nowhere in the entire editor it says that the charge gold / lumber ability cannot has any mana costs nor it does trigger a "Unit begins casting an ability" event.
and the moon glaive ability doesnt do what its tooltip says also, because that ability does absolutely nothing and writing this inside a tooltip wouldnt be such a good idea i guess.
so what the author of this thread was asking for isnt as trivial as some members are trying to make it look like.
