The couple were enjoying an early morning romp in the Ukranian city of Zaporozhye when the train collided with them.

Police said the pair were on their way home after a night out boozing when they made their impromptu stop.

The woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene while her lover, 41, was taken to hospital with both legs severed.

The man, who has not been identified, said: "Returning from our friends', my girlfriend and I could not overcome our passionate nature and wanted to feel a sense of thrill near a railway track."

A police spokesman said: "The man told the police they had failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home… and wanted to experience an extreme sensation."

To add insult to serious injury, officers are weighing up whether to charge the man for trespassing.

I bet this is some kind of rare fetish. Fucking somebody while the other person is getting run over by a train. Dangerous but rewarding for the survivor.
 
I'd bone on a railroad.

The beauty of the idea is I can get the fuck out of the way if I hear/see a train coming.

I wonder what position they were in when it came through ... does this make the train the top?

I kinda wonder too. I mean, the woman got hit and killed but the guy got his legs broken. How exactly does that work?

My best guess is that she was riding him and his legs are hanging over the rail.
 
But why would she then be hit by the train? You think she leaned back over his legs or something? That doesnt sound too comfortable. Especially on train tracks...
 
Probably he was on top and managed to pull out, but she was on her back and took the full force of the train.

    Yeah Tom, me too sorry for your loss buddy my mom told me she finds out her olds friend died from Google searching them. She had not talked to one of her old friends in a year and found out she died from Google. Also another one in the same session. RIP all of them my sincere condolences Tom

    We have some elderly guests that regularly come hang out at the bar at the end of the night, and every once in a while we don't see someone for a few weeks and then someone shows up with their obituary.

    We usually let them do their memorials there in the morning if they want to and I'll make them some snacks and drinks. There was one guy named Tom that came in like every night and would sit by himself and get a bunch of soup and a glass of wine. idk why but he LOVED our fucking soup, like he would order a fucking quart of it at a time and would always get so sad when we stop doing it for the summer.

    He was just such a sweet old man, we had two servers pregnant and they held a baby shower together, he was soooooo fucking excited to get to see a baby. Unfortunately he died a month or so before they were born

    So I decided to Google some people that I had not seen or heard from in a while and sure enough one of my old best friends, we had a falling out years ago but whatever, find out he died of Pancreatic Cancer in January. I have also lost a few of my closer acquaintances from growing up the last year. Getting old - people die - I kinda thought it was going to be this way a few years ago....
