If you still believe the myth that fluoride is good for your children’s (and your) teeth, think again. There are a vast number of scientific research studies confirming the opposite – that fluoride is a toxin that is extremely detrimental to your body, your brain, and even to your teeth.

One of the most active research areas today is fluoride’s ability to damage your brain. Recent human studies from China have confirmed the results of previous animal studies; that elevated fluoride exposure leads to reduced I.Q. in children.

Cognitive ability is further reduced if your child is deficient in iodine.

Prior to this, more than 30 animal studies produced since 1992 have reported impairment in learning and memory processes among animals treated with fluoride.

Even at levels as low as 1ppm (part per million), studies have demonstrated direct toxic effects on brain tissue, including:

* reduction in lipid content

* impaired anti-oxidant defense systems

* damage to your hippocampus

* damage to your purkinje cells

* increased uptake of aluminum

* formation of beta-amyloid plaques (the classic brain abnormality in Alzheimer's disease)

* accumulation of fluoride in your pineal gland.

This has been gone over time and time again. There's floride in public water too if I remember correctly.

In the long run, worrying about this sort of miscellanea will probably do you more harm than the fluoride itself.

The only way to stay 100% healthy is if you die at birth and your body is frozen

Eating anything is bad for your teeth. Breathing can be dangerous if smoke residues are still in the air. Moving is not good for your joints, mainly knees. Standing still is not good for your vertebral column unless you stand perfectly well; moving isn't either. Being outside causes cancer because of the sun. Being only inside isn't good for the health because sedentarity leads to cardiovascular diseases. Playing some sport, depending on its intensity, can cause various problems to the body (legs), especially running, tennis and the such.

There's not much you can do. Accept your fate, as the only safe thing you can do is breath when you're 100% sure there's no smoke in the air!

Self-destruction is constantly happening. ;)

Scurvy or cancer...able to eat or able to live...

Heck, I'll stick to mapping rather than thinking.

H2O: Dangerous Chemical!
A student at Eagle Rock Junior High won first prize at the Greater Idaho Falls Science Fair, April 26. He was attempting to show how conditioned we have become to alarmists practicing junk science and spreading fear of everything in our environment. In his project he urged people to sign a petition demanding strict control or total elimination of the chemical "dihydrogen monoxide."
And for plenty of good reasons, since:

it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting
it is a major component in acid rain
it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
accidental inhalation can kill you
it contributes to erosion
it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes
it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients
He asked 50 people if they supported a ban of the chemical.

Forty-three (43) said yes,
six (6) were undecided,
and only one (1) knew that the chemical was water.
The title of his prize winning project was, "How Gullible Are We?"
He feels the conclusion is obvious.

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Plus - I have a pretty bad ass recipe collection now! That section of the site is 10 thousand times better than it was before
  • The Helper The Helper:
    We now have a web designer at my job. A legit talented professional! I am going to get him to redesign the site theme. It is time.

    I got one more day of community service and then I'm free from this nonsense! I polished a cop car today for a funeral or something I guess
  • Varine Varine:
    They also were digging threw old shit at the sheriff's office and I tried to get them to give me the old electronic stuff, but they said no. They can't give it to people because they might use it to impersonate a cop or break into their network or some shit? idk but it was a shame to see them take a whole bunch of radios and shit to get shredded and landfilled

    How come you're so into recipes lately? Never saw this much interest in this topic in the old days of TH.net
  • Monovertex Monovertex:
    Hmm, how do I change my signature?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I am not big on the recipes I am just promoting them - I use the site as a practice place promoting stuff

  • Monovertex Monovertex:
    @tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences
