Map switching

ok im having a veary hard time on this one.
example your making a Map and on the same map you wand a dungeon but there is no room anymore. so what i want is that you enter a region and then your units get saved in a cache the computer switches map reloads the units and you can play on.

Can only be done in single player, in multiplayer you need to make a bigger map size.

ah like that wel im actualy yust making this map for a frend its gonna be an RPG like map. yust like the founding of durotar.

Righto. It always looks good if you add nice special effects to the map change regions, and you can also add restrictions on what units to transfer or make the hero require items to be able to change map simply by using If/then/else actions. Good luck :)

ok olready thanks for the help but this only rezolves haf of my question
i read this tut http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=51668
and now i know how to save and switch map but now i have the problem that i can only have 1 entrance location at my main map(s)
example 1 main map and 4 sub maps. each map is a square (doh)
at each side pf the square in the main map is an road (exit) whit a region when you enter the region you switch of map whit your cache. then your in one of the sub maps and wanto go back to the main map you setted your cache that you wil get ur units back et the same region you used to leave to the that specific sub map. you go to another sub map and want to go to the main map again. here is my problem yuou wil auto get your units back a the zone you used whit the other sub map. you can switch maps whit a cache but you cant make miltitiple entrances know what i mean?
solution pleas?

Oh lol still the same problem man Your tut says the same as the one i olready read.
My problem is that when you have a map that is linked to 2 other maps you can only have 1 location wheer the cache wil create ur units on that map...

Well, you can store more than just Heroes.
Numbers for example.

As in, store 1 if you came from map 1, 2 on map 2, ... or something along those lines.
When loading, check that number and decide on some other spot based on that.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
