Help Me With This SPELL!!

i am frustrated with this spell where the person shoots a glaive and the glaive will fly and cut through all enemies till it hits the target,then the glaive will flay back to the owner even if the owner blinks away,(glaive flying back deals damage)

You have to make a dummy, that is moving to the target, whenever a unit comes within X range of the dummy, have the dummy deal X damage to the unit. As soon as the dummy reaches the the target, order it to move back to the caster, again dealing everything that comes within range. When the dummy reaches you, kill/remove it.

i also thought of something like that but i am not so good with triggers....
