Trigger Unit Damage Question (GUI)

I have a quick, simple question:

Is there any way to make it so that a spell deals damage equal to a unit's attack damage? I know it needs to be triggered, I assume this would work:

Trigger:
  • Unit - Cause Unit to damage Unit, dealing (This is where I need your help) damage of attack type Spells and damage type Normal


But I can't find a way to make the damage value equal to a unit's attack damage. Is there a way? Thanks, and +rep for help.

As far as I know, the only way to find the attack value of a unit is to make it attack and check how much the attacked unit was damaged for.
 
Maybe you can make a variable that stores the main attribute + the damage without the main attribute. When he levels up, add his main attribute gain to the variable. That maybe will get his damage.

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
