Its recommended for 8 players, I'm not supporting balance for single player because it was never designed to be a single player map. You get a smaller gold reward because there are so few players so you get a lot more gold from killing monsters.

You can't because Blizzard want you to have buy TFT if you want any good map making features at all. If you have any triggers featureing Custom Script, Loops or If, Then and Else functions with multiple conditions and actions it will make your map TFT even though ROC could support it.
If we imprt something using the import editor it becomes TFT end of. If you want to do it you have to get an MPQ editor and open your map after you've saved it and put the files in.
Dying unit can overwrite itself so that isn't MUI. However Triggering unit won't and so replacing dying unit with it will give the same effect plus multi-instanceability.
