let me clear things up.
1. sfilip is mean :p
2. dying unit is actually triggering unit. triggering unit acts like a local, believe it or not. if some other unit dies he wont replace the triggering (dying) unit from some previous trigger so everything will work fine.

however if you were for example trying something with killing unit then you would have to use variables or, more likely, locals.

Well, casting unit, for example, is triggering unit, too. And that doesn't makes a spell with waits, that uses casting unit MUI. So what's the explanation? :confused: This works only for dying unit? :confused:

Maybe you think Wait and Wait until condition are the same which they aren't. If you are using wait until then it wouldn't run any other trigger during that wait but if you use normal wait it will run other triggers during that time.

I wonder if position of triggering unit is preserved in a wait?

Maybe the thing with spells with a wait is that if it's using variables but doesn't convert them to locals.

Argh... I want the creep to be like in Defiance ORPG... They only spawn when the particular creep dies and this process keeps repeating... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

If youre talking about a creep that dies on the same location let me show you:

Event
A unit owned by (creep player) dies
Condition
Dying Unit of type Equal to (The Creep's name)
Action
Wait 90 seconds
Create 1 (Unit Type of Dying Unit) for (creep player) at position of (Dying Unit) facing Default Building Facing Degrees

If you did this, check your triggers and see if it has a copy of the same trigger (that must be causing your multiplication)

If youre tired of this, Open DefianceORPG and your customized map and then make a copy of the respawn trigger

Dying unit can overwrite itself so that isn't MUI. However Triggering unit won't and so replacing dying unit with it will give the same effect plus multi-instanceability.

the triggers u guys gave triggers that make it so that you can lead all the monsters slightly in one direction and then kill them, and if you keep doing that then you end up with one spot where all the monsters tend to revive.

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.
