I forgot about the passive immolation ability actually being in there but yes i think it is possible to give a unit an ability and then just edit the buff/effects to give the ability immolation, etc.
Couldn't you just give the Fire Orb a spell which has the immolation buff/effect and then you wouldn't have to worry about a trigger to activate a spell?
if i were u id use this program to extract images. u can extract as .jpg or .tga and can also take those to formats into .blp for Wc3.

NOTE: when i use Paintshop pro 9 to edit image i have to use...
im pretty suer tho if u change the things i boxed in the picture u can make it think it activates as another ability - an ability that doesn't have auto cast
most unfortunately i dont have such a button on mine :/
-but im not trying to learn how to add keys (sry if i misunderstood what u were showing me :/)
-when i try to export the model after adding the keys it says i need note tracks (to identify the animations? stand, walk, etc.), and these...

I am making a map involving gravity wells and my problem is in coming up with some way to keep units inside the gravity well...
Planet = P
Gravity well edge= G
Furthest u are able to go out of gravity well = I
P G I
400range...
about now as a calc student i feel like an idiot XD its so simple i over looked it....
distance = rate X time
distance = [square root]( (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2 ) [/square root]
hey everyone just need a quick bit of help i've been trying to come up with an equation but am failing :banghead:.....the equation would be simple. it would take the distance between 2 points (a unit and a point of an ability) and it would calculate a time for how long it will take for the unit...
how would one go about making a custom target cursor? more explanation is obviously need -.- im talking about making a model/skin that would be like the 'target ground' object that appears and changes things inside that AoE to turn green
i just registered so i could answer this cause i think my idea will work....
-for orb of annihilation did u change the effect or buff targets? just becaue u told the spell u cant directly cast on allies in an area doesn't mean that the buff/effect of that spell wont hurt them
