I'm currently using Vista and would like to try Ubuntu but, because I don't actually want to get rid of Vista just yet, I plan to put it on my external HD. From my understanding this is fairly simple but it doesn't work on NTFS. So, is there an easy way to create a FAT partition without...
My 141GB hard drive is almost full so I'm trying to free up some space; problem is, as far as I can tell, I'm only using 80GB of the drive, including hidden system files, and I have no idea what the other 40GB are. So, is there any easy way to determine what those 40GB are?
