What I meant was it only lagged the applet itself, nothing else. But that doesnt have to do too much with the pc's specs after a certain point, I think its Java which cant consume 100% of the available computing power.

I think that their is some truth to this. The site applet lags for me, but it does not affect the rest of my comp that much. And I am a low-low-end user

Some java programming...maybe it's because applets are nested in Java, which is nested in something that uses C language. It needs to be interpreted morethan 2 times for it to show up. Maybe that's why...
