Some things you should add/change is for instance a camera to set the view of someone who trains a hero to the new region, otherwise they'll still be looking at the tavern (which will now be fogged) while their hero has been spawned elsewhere.
You also have two step 4s.
This guide also seems to be about what DOTA's way is (almost) like. Mainly the line

In an AoS or DoTA style map you can't have 2 heroes that's why we need to go to GAMEPLAY CONSTANTS

I've seen a few AoS'es where multiple people can have the same hero. They work fine. Also, your rolemodel DOTA also has a mode where everyone has the same hero.

I like the blue backgrounds in the pictures though (however, replace the trigger pictures with [ wc3 ]yourtrigger[ /wc3 ] (without the spaces) because they're too small to read).
