All new triggers are not firing

As the title says, ALL of my new triggers (roughly triggers 991 and above) do not work. Not even the simplest like elapsed game time = 20s, display text to all. I strongly suspect this could be due to my map having too many tiggers (they are all GUI btw) or too many variables (approx 1080). I have no variable arrays that doesnt have default values, so variable arrays shouldnt be the problem. My map size is roughly 2mb (1778 kb from imported stuffs). I have been at the map for about 5 years now and only very lately has there been this issue. I have as of now 1633 non-standard custom objects. While most of my guesses to the problem are as stated above, but i would welcome any one who think they have the solution/explanation to the problem. Thanks in advanced.

just make ur map smaller would help for a start.

almost 1000 triggers?? 1080 variables?? why??

jeez use arrays rather

im not surprised some of your triggers dont work

hmm, any jass/vjass you using?
-is it too many trigger run at Map initialization?
-map size won't be a problem unless your map size is 8mb, what i hear is that if your map size reach such size, you can only play in single player mode.
-when the time it work fine? before the patch 1.22? (after the patch 1.21 until 1.24, fixed a lot of thing)
-do your map protected before?

Nope. no jass at all.
Yes before this my map ini triggers had all fail to load. So i switched to elapsed game time = 0.
It shldnt be map size. Makes sense there.
It has always worked fine. Until i started exceeding a number of triggers. as mentioned above.
Yap i do use protectors but i always work with an unprotected version.

my little suggestion, try to turn off some of the trigger(like 30% or 50%), see whether the rest of trigger are running or not.

Merge those actions together.
I guess your map have a long load time.
Perhaps you can learn Jass and optimize it.

I've tried this and it still doesnt work. Im at wit's end now... anyone can offer some help?

apparently a deciding factor of whether or not your map functions.

Again. I will help you to get rid of triggers. I can streamline some of your code and debug it.

lol

dota have under 300 triggers and 450 variables, most triggers act as system handles (10-20 lines of code).

there is thread limit 6200 iterations, if you hit limit, map will fail.
this limit include every action run on init, including array allocation (check your variables)
