Anti-Cheat

The theme of my map is Hero-Defense
Which means if the Main Building dies its Game Over

So I've made a trigger like this one:

Anti-Cheat
    Events
        Player - Player 2 (Blue) types a chat message containing [COLOR="Red"]whosyourdaddy[/COLOR] as An exact match
    Conditions
    Actions
        Unit - Kill [COLOR="Red"]Main Building 0000[/color] <gen>

The Main Player in my map is Player2

So that when one attempts to type a cheat it will automatically kill the Main Building

Only problem is the trigger doesn't work

Please help...

there is way to get your trigger to work, but you can do something to Check if the cheat is in effect

You cannot do that, cheats aren't detected with chat messages

As far as I know, there is no possible way to stop the cheats blizzard put into the game, because they aren't detected as chat messages and do not show up in the chat log, just display a "Cheat enabled!" message. But as posted above, the cheats do not work on Battle.net, so you shouldn't have any reason to worry.

i think you could make a trigger that moves a player's screen instantly to a "hidden" location and back instantly, crashing the game for them if they see a unit there with a corrupted model, as an idea against mhing

I think blizzard put a system against map hacking in their last patch,

2. Cheats don't work in Multiplayer.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about cheating. If people want to win so much that they cheat in single player to do it, then, hey, it's their loss. The fun is playing the game. Not just beating it.

yea, if your worried about it, just check if theres only one player playing the game at the Map Init or a short time, if theres only one, defeat him.

they did, but for shadow frenches mh

There are still multiple maphacks that still work.

You can cheat in games that have been hacked with a cheat pack.
sadly this is coming more and more common :/
