Approaching Non-specific units

Hi. Complicated sounding title for what is probably a simple solution.

I want to start a trigger with a unit coming within a certain distance of another unit which has been created (ie not placed physically on the map from the start). I've tried creating a region around this created unit and triggering when the region is entered, but this will only work if the unit is placed on the map from the beginning. Similarly, the "comes within range" event only works if the unit is placed from the beginning.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

There is "Trigger - Add event".

On maps where you control a single Hero, you can create the event on the Hero and check what comes in range there.

sweet, that worked for me. I needed it in multiply instances but I added it to a unit group looping action and it seemed to have work just fine. thx.

If an ugly solution is alright, then I guess you could just place the relevant unit in the editor, hide it from the beginning in some out of the way place and then move it instantly to the right place and the right time?
