Base Ability Suggestion

I'm looking for an ability that will have both a max range and a min range needed to activate, much like the attack of a seige unit, but I need it to be a skill. Are there any existing skills like this? What one should I use?

AFAIK there aren't any abilities like that. You will have to use triggers to stop the caster from casting the ability if the distance between target point of ability being cast and the caster is less than for example 300.
