Base Spell

I need to find a base spell that will work for the dummy/empty/thing-you-click-on spell for a new spell I'm making. Basically the requirements are these:

1. Doesn't do anything.
2. Can target any enemy, organic, air or ground unit.

I tried Holy Light with the targets changed, and the damage off, but apparently the targets allowed are hard-coded into that spell. I tried Hex, but it turned them into sheep. I tried Mana Siphon, but again I have target problems. What spell can I use for this?
