Basic trigger question

I'm new to the worldeditor and I don't get triggers yet, to be honest I don't really know what a trigger is.
But my question is; How do I set my costum ammount of starting resources?
By deleting the standard action and create a new one ?

• Melee Initialization
  • Events
    • Map initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Player - Set Player 1 (Red) Current gold to 750
    • Player - Set Player 1 (Red) Current lumber to 750

Set the 750's to your hearts desire.

Btw trigger setup is pretty simple event is the cause and actions are the effects, and conditions are well just think

of them as requirements if you want to add a requirement for the event to work.
