cant open my map

after this im going to have 3 copys of my map

What I suggest is that every time you worked an hour or so, you change the version number of your map.

E.G.
map000.w3x
map001.w3x
map002.w3x
And so on.

Then you'll always have plenty of backups and you can also check for bugs that only exist in newer versions and not older ones.

I have even my map on mobile , even on usb stick , when i finish the job on my map , i always have about 20 copies (I Experienced lost of my map , which I worked for nearly one year)

By the way , are you using newgen? If so , perhaps you are opening your map in normal world editor , if not , try use newgen , it might helps.

Somehow this is related from the patch 1.21 to patch 1.22 and newgen.

Stop double, and triple posting. People have given you possible ideas to come to a conclusion. Google the ERROR you are getting. This is probably the easiest way to come to a resolution to your issue.

Also, go red a god damn book, and learn some basic grammar, every post you create just makes me want to gouge my eyes out. :banghead:

The problem can be that the file became "corrupted" the last time you saved it or in between the time you last saved it and tried opening it again, thats why I always save it multiple times with different names, and make backups on USB stick and external HD.

If the file became corrupted then there is no way to get any info back from it I think.
