I could create a dummy unit to damage target of ability being cast but bounces targets would not be affected. And order dummy units to cast Chain lightning every X seconds could fail due to units leaving/entering it's range. Any ideas? XD
When you cast the chain lightning ability, create a dummy and order it to use acid bomb on the target unit (remove acid bomb projectile, set speed to about 99999 and configure the damage). thats probably the simplest way (any other DoT active-cast would work fine as well)
Acid bomb would affect units in an Area. That could affect units that were not damaged by the "real" chain lightning. Other spells would affect only the first target of chain lightning. I need a way to damage the bounce targets.
Reduce the AoE of the acid bomb to 1. its highly unlikely that units will be within 1 range of the centre of the target unit. it also has some more configurable properties (speed change, armor change)
Finally finding about some of the bots that are flooding the users online - bytespider apparently is a huge offender here - ignores robots.txt and comes in from a ton of different IPs
Ghan has said he has fixed this. Monovertex please confirm this fix. This was only a problem with people that had signatures in the upper levels like not the special members but the respected members.
