Changing Unit Armor and Attack types?

So is there anyway to do this through tiggers?

You need to do it in-game I'm assuming?

If not, you can just do it in Object Editor.

Armor types might be changed with root.
It should be possible but I never tested it - never needed it.

I also need to change the attack type in mid game aswell as armor. If there is no way of doing this i think ill have to create 10 different units with all the mixed attack and armor types.

There is no known way to change an attack type in game.

At this moment I only have the RoC, so i cant test it, but i remember that you can create an "upgrade" to change attack/defense type. So you only need is make a trigger that researches that upgrade when you need it.

This is a permanent change, maybe do you want a temporal change?

yes you can change the defense type through an upgrade, but i dont think there is 1 for attack type.
