i suggest on putting code tags on quick reply, because most of the time, people posts GUIs and to save time or just have slow internet, they use quick reply

also for edit post...in quick reply theres the jass tags, but when u edit the post, jass tags, youtube tags, and spoiler tags are removed

you know, I don't know for what reason they are not inputted, but, hey, is it so hard to type [CODE*][*/CODE] ?
(stars are made for the code to be seen)

As for the edit post, have you ever clicked 'Go Advanced' ? :p

Personally, I have never used the Quick Reply.
I would that that if you want to post code, you would use the regular reply method. But that's just me. :p

Nope never used a quick reply but typing in isn't that hard
I don't think we need a button on there for it but now that i feel the need to use a quick reply i will....

And then there's the fact that Quick Reply is supposed to be "quick".
That would tend to rule out having 3,000 buttons available for you to push.
If you want buttons, go for the typical Reply.

> Also on Edit Posts would be handy.

I think I'd go for that before the Quick Replies. Not to say that the Quick Reply idea is bad or anything, it's just that, to me, it doesn't seem as important.
Editing is something that I would think comes up more often.

Yes the edit does need some more of the icons ^^
That will save you time going to an Advance Edit
But i memorize the tags by now :p

Edit
Code:
Used with Non-Advance Edit

Hey, don't forget, the new server did a lot of that, too. It doesn't take as long to "Go Advanced" anymore.

> But i memorize the tags by now

Yeah, they aren't that difficult, are they? :p

Really, after a while you learn them automatically, I don't use the button at all and I always reply with the Quick-Reply :).

I have a weird impression...I remember that 2-3 years ago, when I had last seen the site there was no quick reply...

Speaking of tags, the Spoiler Tag also doesn't hide text when you put your cursor over the list of posts.

I don't exactly understand what you're meaning. You want to hide the content of the spoiler tag when you move your mouse over it?

If so, how am I supposed to select and copy some text in that case?

He's talking about the forum display... when you hover on a thread, it shows a bit of the text from the first post. The Spoiler tag doesn't hides text in that.

Just to throw my opinion in the matter of the SPOILER tags showing the text when mousing-over the thread, I would say that it should be hidden. Kinda defeats the purpose in a way.

As for the Quick Reply, meh. It's supposed to be quick. :p

Have a nice day all. :)

Never seen that, Firefox merely shows a few words, so it seems to be heavily MSIE-biased. I can live happily without it.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
