creating hero help!

i am trying to create my own heroes. i used a premade hero as a format, but when i am in game i can build as many of them as i want. how do i limit my created hero to one per player?

Melee Game - Limit Heroes to 1 per Hero-type (for all players)
this limit each player to each hero type
or
you can set tech tree dependencies in advanced>gameplay constant
