custom ability order?

I want to have dummy unit to cast a custom spell.

I do not want to customize the the original abilities.

And your problem is?
If you don't know how to order a dummy to cast a custom spell, via trigger, then the answer is:
You order the dummy to cast the ability on which the ability is based on.
For example, if you create a custom spell, and base it of Storm Bolt, then you order your dummy unit to 'Human - "Dwarf Hero" - Storm Bolt' *target*.

I based my custom spell on starfall, but won't it confuse the custom ability with the real starfall?

P.S. I didn't edit the real starfall

no, the dummy will cast the ability ON IT that has the order "starfall".
