Defend for other attack types

Is it possible to make the defend ability reflect other attack types instead of piercing, such as the hero attack type or no? If so, how do you do it? Thank you.

I gtg so ima type this fast

make a trigger of ability Defend
trigger if unit attacked
if unit has ability defend lvl 1
if attacking unit has attack type magic (etc)
then do something with armor

Thanks but not too helpful lol. I understand what you're getting at but "do something with armor" is where I get lost. I would have no idea what to do, and I would need it to reflect as well, which is the real problem.
