Defense Of The Frostmourne

Storyline

When Arthas wanted to wield the cursed blade, frostmourne, a battle broke out in northrend between the humans and the defenders of Frostmourne. The defenders are not alone, as there are creatures in the frozen forests of Northrend, they might ally with. But chose your allies wisely, beacuse you may not have too many.​

-6 Defenders
-Custom heroes
-Custom items
-1 Attacker
-20-40 Waves of humans
-Neutral creeps as allies

Progress:
-Terrain: 80%
-Units: 10% (custom units will be added shortly)
-Triggers: 75%
-Items: 10%
-Spell Triggers: 100% (will add more as days go by)
-Heroes: 100% (-||-)
-Map is playable!(Multi-Player(5 waves))

So, yeah, that's all that you need to know, the map is gonna be like a hero defense, but can get easier depending on what allies you chose, you can only choose 3 allies. A chieftan will spawn at in the Fortress of the defenders and will spawn minor units against the humans. The last battle will be against Arthas and his dwarven friend, if he gets near Frostmourne's Pedistal the defenders Lose. If they kill Arthas, units will stop spawning and will have a perfect chance to destroy the human fortress.

I'm sorry for not updating this thread for so long, but i have a valid reason, was working on the map:)

Please tell me if there are any Bugs/Lag

The map is playable but very hard on Single Player
This is why i added a nice trigger...
If you're single player and with name WorldEdit type in -admin and you have commands:
-lvl (1-25)
-gold (1-100000)
DO NOT abuse these commands, ment explictly for Beta Testing
These work only if your name is WorldEdit

Sorry for double-post...
Map is playable, added to first post
Map has NO custom units yet, will be added shortly
Map has NO custom items yet, these will also be added shortly
Map is Difficult, if you don't have at least 1 ally on your side(or 2 players)
Spawns are only 5 per 30 seconds!

Well...may be you need custom items...

And the hero's tooltips...they need fixing, too...Leaving them all white is a little bit hard to read.

Also...right after when I finishes the first wave, dozens of game messages appear saying I won the duel...may be u need 2 fix that too...

Anyway,...hope u won't give up ur project...good luck :)

Thanx, will fix the bugs, the thing is i copied the spells from my spell test map

Bugs are Fixed, map reuploaded

tried it singleplayer.. wrote this while playing.. restarted 3 times to get the idea of the map

1. It would be nice if there were a better description when chooseing a hero
2. HOTKEYS!!! :p i miss them very much
3. hmmm - the bug disapeared :p (your player name got changed. The new name had an unfinished color code in it)
4. Try looking trough the spell descriptions agian
5. nice icons! :)
6. Blood drinkers ability "The burning blade" is extreamly underpowered. @ lvl 3 it deals 60 over 20 secs.. a lvl 5 hero deals the same amount in 1 hit. (you could multiply with the hero lvl or at least 0.5 x hero lvl)
7. secound spawn wave never seemed to come, what did i do wrong? (see replay)
8. If my neutral allys die, can i choose new ones/the same?
9. seems like i can't exceed lvl 5 by killing neutral hostile creeps :p (is
10. one of the potions is out of stock the entire game
11. what is the idea of the cavesystem, and is the secound gate ment not to teleport you?
12. 10 sec x hero lvl seems like a bit too long time for rivival
13. win condition ?
14. only 16 skill points to spend while max lvl i 25?
15. blood thirst dont seem to work at all ? - it only creates lag when selected :p (my comp sucks, so it could just be me.. :))

Ekstra thoughts:
1. balance the spawns. by mobs/player and/or difficulty system
2. Some epic triggered boss fight in the end could be nice :D
3. useable items.. passive bonuses, or some ativated teambonus ect. ect....
4. Stackable potions... :p.. they might need to be cheaper or at least more effective
5. some tekst explaining the ally system (not only in quests)

well... i like the concept :) but there is still a long way to go (i know its beta).. keep on working :D
