Destroying an effect right away

Hi, I'm making this vehicle map where the loading unit shows on top of the transporting unit so it mimics a rider riding on top of the unit.

I used [WC]Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the chest of (Transporting unit) using model[(Player number of (Owner of (Loading unit)))]

But the problem is, when I try destroying the special effect, , the unit effect that's supposed to just disappear shows a dying motion and then disappears. (it also bleeds) so that doesn't look realistic when the riding unit is dismounting lol.

Can someone suggest a good way of doing this?
I thought about removing the unit and recreating but I would like to make the same effect without doing that...

I believe you would need to do something like create a dummy unit, attach the special effect to the dummy, then when you want to remove it move the dummy to a remote area and destroy it and the special effect.

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
