Entengle buff

I already made a mass entengle but now i want the buff.What spell i need to custom and can someone explain to me which case you need to change ?
 
Go to buffs next to the abilities and create new buff, then in mass entangle ability level 1 buff set it to ur custom one and lvl 2 and 3
 
I would use silence.
Then i would...
Copy and Paste Silence
Then set the AOE to whatever you want, and do that stuff.
Replace the Silence Buff with Entangle
Hook up the abbility to the trigger
Add to hero.
 
and the final question is: I don't want the spell roots when i click roots because I already made a trigger who made it but i just want the the little icon like that
 
Err, you want to do what? Could you explain in a bit more clearly? You've lost me =o

i need to delete the special effect or modify something in the custom spell ?

Does the Unit - (Wake up) picked unit work? I think it's supposed to be Unpause Picked unit? Well are you trying to make the entangled unit have the "Banish icon" or the casting unit have it?

Yea I want the unit in my roots have the "Roots Icon"
 
But isn't ( this ) Banish icon? Or you making this as the "Root Icon"? Then you just need to go to the "Buffs" section at the top part of the Object Editor and change the icon for your buff.
 
Oh. Then as I said, go to the Object Editor and the "Buff" section. From there, you can create a new buff. Then you can set your icon, change the description, etc. Just change the icon to the "Entangling Roots" and the Art - Target to "Entangling Roots" and set the Attatchment location to "origin". Then just add that buff into your spell.
 
ok thx now it's working.Just a little question if i make it for 4 seconde where did i need to put to last just 4 secondes in the ablity editor ?
 
In the "Stat - Duration" I think. Well I'm sure it's called "Duration" but not sure if the "Stat" part is correct. Well in the Duration, there should be 2 options, Normal and Hero. Normal is for normal units (duh). Hero is for heroes (duh again).

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
