Frostbite spell

any ways to hardcode a skill that encases/restricts movement while healing constant 70 per second? i tried entangling roots + negative value, however it appears that negative values dont work with damage over time...what other skills restrict movement like entangling roots?

You can try using unholy frenzy, but i don't know if it has a movement value >.<

Other then that you can always use something like slow and then use a periodic trigger every second to check if the unit has the buff. If it has set life of unit to life of unit +70 ^^

Try using a easy trigger,

Skill Setup:
A unit cast an ability

The ability being cast equal to frostbite

set Target (Unit variable) = target of ability being cast
Trigger - turn on Frost bite<gen>

Then another trigger

Frost bite
every 1 second

If
Target has a buff equal to frost bite equal to true

Then
Set the hit point of Target to Hit Point of Target + 70

Else
Turn off this trigger


Make your entangling roots spell to do 0 damage.

thank you both, however i would prefer the spell to be non-triggered :p
its because the 'triggered dota skills explained' in the dota forum requires no triggers (which means its possible)... unless the guide is wrong...link

Entangling roots with negative damage should work, it did for me when i used it for my stone shield spell. Anyway, if it still doesn't work, you could try having a dummy casting ensnare and inner fire.
