Hardened Skin Ignore % damage?

i want a skill is like hardened skin but the skill is block damage , i want is block % damage. can do that?? if need trigger to do this also show me the GUI trigger.

Trigger:
  • Hardened Skin
    • Events
    • Conditions
      • ((Triggering unit) has buff Hardened Skin ) Equal to True
    • Actions
      • Unit - Set life of (Triggering unit) to ((Life of (Triggering unit)) + ((Damage taken) x 0.50))

Thats a 50% damage reduction make a dummy ability that give you a buff.
E.g brilliance aura or unholy aura with targets "self"
EDIT:Removed part of the trigger cuz it was not needed.

For example:
(unit01) has the hardened skin skill
(unit02) the attacker (damage 100)

When (unit02) attack (unit01) the (unit01) reduce 90% damage just take 10% damage (unit02) damage 100 when attack (unit01) then (unit01) only takes 10 damage.so i want is what damage hit (unit01) the (unit01) only takes 10% damage.

Come to think of it i think armor will count too. But pretty much yes.

Multiplying a number by a positive number less than 1 will reduce the value of the number being multiplied. Which is the inverse of what would happen by multiplying, say, 2 x 2 or 5 x 1.25

It would be easier to think of 0.60 as the fraction 3/5.

i try make like hex's trigger but still no work i try test use othe runit with damage high but hit (myunit) (myunit) still decrease a lot of hp

Btw, One big problem is that:
If the 100% damage is higher than the life of the attacked unit, the unit will die first before the reduction will happen if i am not wrong.:confused:

lol no! I meant to post that about the event type, but the post came up too late :p Sorry for the mishap. I meant to say that the event "Unit takes damage" and "Unit is attacked" would work either way :)
