Help with timer

Just wondering how would I make it so that the timer doesn't repeat every time a hero moves into the region

Trigger:
  • Send
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit enters Gauntlet0 <gen>
    • Conditions
      • ((Entering unit) is A Hero) Equal to True
    • Actions
      • Set p_Gauntlet = (Center of GauntletStart <gen>)
      • Unit - Move (Entering unit) instantly to p_Gauntlet
      • Game - Display to (Player group((Owner of (Entering unit)))) the text: |cCF0041FFYou have ...
      • Countdown Timer - Start t_gauntlet as a One-shot timer that will expire in 20.00 seconds
      • Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for t_gauntlet with title |cFFFFCC00Ice Gaunt...
      • Wait 20.00 seconds
      • Countdown Timer - Destroy (Last created timer window)
      • Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)
      • Custom script: call RemoveLocation (udg_p_Gauntlet)

Tell me, what does the trigger do?

I think you should remove the Wait 20.00, and set the Countdown Timer - Destroy (Last created timer window) to a new trigger.

It'll be finished.

It's for a dungeon, basically what happened is that

1. Unit enters region
2. Unit is instantly moved into another region
3. A timer is created counting down (20 sec) until the time that step 1. doesn't work

But what happens is that more than one timer window is created, & the timer is reset and I want that to not happen

It still doesn't solve my problem of the timer not showing up multiple times and resetting every time a person enters the region

When you disable trigger it can not fire again until you enable it.
'isGauntletWinVis' is boolean variable with default starting value.
Trigger:
  • Send Init
    • Events
      • Time - Elapsed game time is 0.00 seconds

Okay that works for the multiple timers but is there a way to make it so that if a unit enters that the timer doesn't reset everytime a person enters?

And yes I want it to turn off after all this happens and it gets turned on after a boss is defeated
