Hero Glow

I remember a tutorial somewhere about taking the hero glow from another model (Lich I think) and applying it to another model, to give any model a hero glow. I have looked on several sites and I cannot find it. Can somebody help me?

Note: To be more specific, I believe the base unit it used was a Lich.

This isn't what I was looking for. The thing I want involved literally taking the hero glow off of another model and putting it onto another, making a seperate unit.
